William N. McMillan, III, was born in Glendale, CA and received his B.A. from Seattle University in 1970 and his J.D. degree from Whittier College School of Law, Los Angeles, CA in 1976.
Mr. McMillan began his career first as an associate and then as a partner with the prestigious trial firm of Green O'Reilly, Broillet, Paul Simon, McMillan & Wheeler Los Angeles, CA, leaving that firm in 1988 to begin his own highly successful firm. At both firms, he specialized in complex catastrophic injury and death cases including those involving product liability, medical malpractice and elder abuse.
Thereafter, Mr. McMillan began working as a private mediator, where he was highly respected by both the plaintiff's and defense bar.
Presently, Mr. McMillan serves as of counsel to DeWitt . Algorri . Algorri where he has continued to handle complicated and catastrophic cases.
Mr. McMillan has tried numerous cases to verdict and has achieved wide recognition from his peers. He is also an associate of the American Board of Trial Advocates, an invitation only organization. He is a past member of the board of governors of the Consumer Attorneys Association of Los Angeles, and also a member of the American Bar Association and Los Angeles County Bar Association.
He is also admitted to the U.S. District Court, Central and Southern Districts.
